With over 16 years experience in hairdressing and 4 years in makeup artistry and having worked in some of the major fashion capitals in the world, I could be the stylist for you!
Recently I have returned from living and working in London where I had the opportunity to work on various projects such as 'Britians Next Top Model' along side Zoe Irwin one of Britians Top Hairstylists which was an amazing experience and truly inspirational.
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am always looking for ways to extend my knowledge and that i love been part of new and exciting projects.
I am passionate about my career and love helping people to look and feel fantastic.

Project Born
Amber @ So You gets a chance to shine, heading the hairstyling team at the debut event Project Born.
PROJECT BORN
What a phenomenal show full of dance, theatrical, lingerie and amazing Weta Workshop creations.
For those of you that didn’t hear about Project Born it is a high-end charity event raising money for the Neonatal trust presented by Weta Workshop and Mojo coffee. Held at Mojos’ roaster y which was expertly transformed into a fantastic red carpet venue. With the lingering smell of roasted coffee beans in the air and the Champagne flowing people were treated to VIP treatment before and during the shows performance, the show was split into two sections and was a visual extravaganza which included a catwalk lingerie show with outfits by Elle Macpherson, Pleasure State and Womama.
Being head Hairstylist meant a lot of planning and organising on my behalf, including hand picking my awesome team of local established and up and coming stylists. With the help of George Janis and Wella I was provided with all the tools and products that were needed to pull off the show. I took inspiration from the gorgeous Victoria’s Secret Angels and came up with a plan.
We worked firstly with hot tonging small section of hair and pinning then allowing the hair to cool while they had their makeup expertly done by the MAC girls. After removing the pins and loosely brushing through the curls we worked at creating soft, sexy waves with tonnes of volume( in the words of Dolly Parton “Higher the hair, closer to god”). The result was amazing the girls looked hot!! And the guys weren’t too bad either!!!
Overall the whole experience was incredible, to be surrounded by so many talented people was truly inspiring and something I would do again in a heartbeat.
